Since 1978, the Humane Society of Morgan County has been a safe haven for abused, abandoned, and neglected cats and dogs. As a strict no-kill shelter, we believe every animal deserves a lifetime of love, no matter how long it takes to find it.
We operate with zero government funding, relying entirely on the generosity of our community and the dedication of our 200+ volunteers. From medical rehabilitation to matching pets with their perfect families, our mission is sustained 100% by people like you.
Because we receive $0 in state or federal funding, every dollar you give goes directly toward the food, medical care, and warm beds our animals need.
$40 feeds an animal for a month; $100 provides essential veterinary care; and $250 supports our daily operations.
